The oak and Alder mix is an ideal combination as the easy lighting Alder can be used to get the fire going and get it hot then some Ash can be added to add longevity and heat to the fire for the evening.

Great service and quality

Yet again we ordered from Rainford logs and were not disappointed! delivery was suggested for the next day but there was no problem when I asked for it to be the day after. The lorry backed up to our door and the bag of logs delivered as near to dry storage as was possible. We have been using up the last alder logs from last year so have not yet started on the ash and alder mix.
